Weighty task for HOU team as CX carries its heaviest-ever load
Post by Joyce Wong

We moved the heaviest-ever single piece of cargo on 21 March, uploading a 43 tonne piece of specialist oil rig drilling equipment onto one of our Boeing 747 freighters. The equipment was being shipped from Houston, Texas, to Incheon Airport in Seoul, Korea.

The freighter service to Houston and Miami was launched in March 2009, operating three flights a week. A fourth service is being added this month due to strong demand on the route.
